Welcome to the Berkfamily54comics channel! If you're into comic books - new and old - this channel is for you! I do hauls, unboxings and more! Sometimes I even include my family in my videos when talking about comic books and characters but this channel is intended for comic book collectors.
As someone who has been collecting comic books for a long time I would consider a 'comic book collector' as someone 18 and older (adult) and has the means to collect comic books on a regular basis. To put it another way, this channel is meant for adults who collect comic books and like to talk about the hobby.
I try to do a few videos a week about comic books including my NCBD Haul and whenever I have time to run to a store to look at their back issues. If you're an adult and interested in talking about comic book collecting this channel is for you!!!

Have you heard of the problem with the Boom! MMPR 30th anniversary kickstarter "9.8 MMPR issue #0 power coin editions" being labeled as "MMPR 30th anniversary #1" 😅 as far as i can tell it happened to all of them from the kickstarter. You can see copies beong sold on ebay with this error and i havent found anyone in any comic/power ranger group that says they got theirs with a proper label

Nah I don’t think it’s cracked it appears to be just a loose piece of plastic on the inside.
@@berkfamily54 one of the books I received recently had the same issue and when I looked closely at the slab there was a Crack at the side by the label.🥲
Actually I think I need send that and the flash book back. They’re not straight in the case it’s causing a crinkle that isn’t good.

Great stuff. I was recently following an auction for a CGC 9.6 of Adam: Legend of the Blue Marvel #1. It sold for just under $170. I think the going price for a CGC 9.8 is $800 or more. If I had the flow, I would have snagged it.
Sounds like you took advantage of someone and robbed them. i think it was scummy. If its a business it's one thing but this was an individual who didnt know and you took advantage of it. So now you cherry picked this lot and they are left with crap and unaware.
My personal opinion is that he did not take advantage of someone. He paid what they asked and if you listen to the story the deal happened basically inside a business and they just wanted to get rid of them and they knew he was cherry picking the books. People act like you have to pay FMV every time for every book but then also applaud good deals. Mike V is a good dude and he is constantly looking for deals and he just happened to find one.
@@berkfamily54 that bull and you know it he was dealing with people unaware of the value then paid less than 10% of the value. That's not a 'Good Dude' That's what most would call an a-hole flipper. If you buy something and find out later it was worth a ton that's one thing but he went in knowing the value and then even admits to not wanting to give a amount cause he didn't wanna pay more than he had to. Guys scum and hope more people read this comment and think about if they'd wanna be screwed over like this and maybe unsub and find a better channel. The idea you said FMV when he paid less than 10% FMV come on you know thats bs. Even the scummy dealers in my area pay 30%. shameful
